I have a confession to make…
I love wearing mens’ clothing. Okay, maybe just one man’s clothing… myman’s clothing. Recently, I’ve really enjoyed styling slouchy, relaxed silhouettes. There’s a posh and elegant quality to a menswear inspired look that I absolutely adore. There are many different ways to wear it – some prefer a more literal approach while others mix menswear pieces with their own, for a touch of femininity. The latter is what I did here!
I’ve been keeping an eye out for trousers in all colors, some in a relaxed fit, and some a bit more fitted. It pairs perfectly well with a blazer and a loose fitting basic tee, or with a slouchy knit sweater and booties. Another reason I love it is, you have to have some self confidence in wearing something that’s out of the norm. All the photos of women I see wearing suits all walk with an air of confidence. You wear the clothes; never let the clothes wear you. Confidence is the key to everything you wear! Try this new look and let me know what you think!
