Casual Chic

I really love a good pair of heels. Something about how it elevates the most casual look. The same way a pair of classic sneakers could add a cool girl vibe to a dress or polished look, a pair of sky high, sexy heels adds a touch of femininity and elegance to the simplest outfit. And I’ve always said that whether or not you follow fashion or trends, it’s important to invest in great shoes. I must add that it is just as important to get the shoes that are affordable and will serve as your go-to shoes for certain looks. Let’s be real. I simply can’t wear these heels all day, everyday. My pediatrist would be very upset with me. But when I need to feel tall (there are those days) or when I need to finish an outfit for a night out, dinner, or event, these will absolutely be the ones I grab and put on.

Textured monochromatic accessories are my thing. My Emily Cho oversized bag is everything. It’s so chic, I need a new word for chic to do it justice. One of my favorite brands, Emily Cho, has made sophisticated, quality, must-have bags season and after. What I love most about this bag? It won’t get dirty from the NY grime. The croc texture is excellent and stays pristine.

Lastly, the jacket I’m wearing is actually meant to be a men’s jacket. No surprise here considering I steal my beau’s clothes like it’s my job. His good friend started designing his own collection and this bomber jacket is one of many amazing pieces. Feel free to inquire me if you’re interested in getting one for yourself!

Now, next week I will be off to Meeahmi (how I pronounced Miami for fun) for a few days. And I cannot WAIT to share my mini trip with you all. Keep in touch!
