I’ve been shopping less and focusing on investing in wardrobe staples – something I always talk about on the blog because it’s truly the way I’ve been shopping the past couple years and I think it’s effective. It’s easy to get caught up in the latest trends and want to get a whole new wardrobe each season but let me tell you, minimalism will make your life easier! Getting dressed in the morning will be something you need not think about. It’s about cultivating a capsule wardrobe with a twist – bright accessories or white shirts with different details. This will make packing for a trip easier and making choices about what to pair together and wear will be effortless.
At the moment, I have a few great white shirts that I can wear and wear again in a multitude of ways. Paired easily with skirts, jeans, and trousers, the shirt in this blog post has details that are both on trend and classic. This shirt comes with a lightweight black scarf that is removable but pairs beautifully. This outfit gave me major Yves Saint Laurent’s “Le Smoking” circa 1960s vibes. Modernized, I paired this beautiful, billowy shirt with black high-waisted jeans, suede heels, a red suede, little bag and red lips to match. Ideal for a special night out, I could easily wear this white shirt from day to night simply with a change in accessories, shoes, or make-up. Browse this exact look below!
