Fall is the season to embrace menswear-inspired looks. There’s really nothing like seeing a woman borrowing inspiration from a man’s wardrobe. I always derive what happens to be some very classic, timeless looks from menswear. There’s a deep appreciation and attention to tailoring that I admire and love.
Here I mixed a monochrome palette with wide leg trousers. To create a cool, casual, rather effortless vibe, I pair it with white sneakers. Topping it off, I’m wearing my crimson wool coat that has a minimal, simple cut and front waterfall drape. If you want to add a pop of color, this is the way to do it. Wear a monochrome look and choose a patterned or bright overcoat. You’ll be sure to grab the attention of streetstyle admirers everywhere.
Accessorize with a substantial men’s watch and some cool frames. Mine happen to be in the red family to compliment my coat!
What do you think of a pop of color with monochrome looks? Are you more of a color person or do you mostly dress in neutrals and black? I hope you liked today’s post! Lots of AMAZING projects and a special giveaway coming soon.
