It’s important to map out what you need to add and what you need to take away to refresh your wardrobe for fall/winter. In these upcoming posts, I will be rounding up my personal picks of favorite items to have for fall. These are the essentials, in other words, the pieces you need and will use over and over and over. Of course, in Linh Niller fashion, I always recommend pieces that you can style in various different ways. There’s never one way to wear it.
The first thing you will need this fall is a knit, cozy cashmere poncho. The ease in throwing it on over any simple outfit goes beyond style; it is the ultimate utilitarian piece. A lot of the trends you’re seeing for fall/winter is a nod to the west with a touch of 70s vibes. The pattern on my poncho is so modern yet has a slight wild west touch with fringe details all along the sleeve. You won’t want to take it off. Try pairing it with high waisted skinny jeans (here) and chelsea boots. Once you buy one really amazing poncho (especially if it’s made of cashmere) you won’t need anything else. It’s the ultimate layering piece. Not to mention, fun and interesting outerwear is THE investment of the season. To die for! Scroll over the photo below and shop my look!
