This Spring, I vowed to experiment more with prints and color! I’ve established somewhat of a foundation of my favorite colors and silhouettes in my wardrobe and feel ready to incorporate prints and color. The silhouette of this look has a very subtle 60s vibe with the high waisted skirt and modest boxy shirt tucked in. Because it’s the same print top and bottom, it tends to lend an elongating appearance which is always a plus!
Matching separates has been on trend for the past couple seasons. Usually I like to sit on a trend until it grows on me. It has to suit you, no matter what! The matching skirt and shirt combination works to create a cool illusion of a dress. But what’s great about matching separates is how versatile it is. Pair your prints with a solid neutral and you’re good to go!
